We always have a fun time
so please drop by for some fun and conversation.

The Afterschool Program,
for grades 1-5, will start up again Sept 24th.

at the library afterschool, and come and pick them up at 4pm.
We always have a great time reading,
doing crafts
and playing games!

at Jon Metz’s house

What a wonderful time we had at the
Easter Egg Hunt this year!

The Friends of the library out did them selves this year.
 There were over 35 children
and their parents.
  Great job everyone!
If you missed it be sure to join us next year.

The reading group's book this month is Flight Behavior
by Barbara Kingsolver and is a very good read.

Please feel free to come to the library and
pick up a copy.
You don't have to come to the discussion,
but it's a great story.

The Penny Social was a great success.
The members of Historical society can certainly cook!
I loved the historically correct costumes
the auctioneers wore.
Please don't miss this event next time around
it's a lot of fun!

Monday Night Book Club

Monday Night Book Club

We had a wonderful discussion at book group this Monday night.
We read The Fault in Our Stars by Green.
It was a very touching story of teens with cancer.
We would highly recommend it.

This month we are reading The Unlikely Pilgrimage by Harold Fry.
It is about a recently retired man who decides to walk 600 miles
to see a woman he hasn't seen in years,
and his adventures along the way.

Anyone who would like to read this very popular novel
can pick up a copy here at the library.
We will be discussing it on
March 24th at 7:00 p.m.
at the Miner Memorial Library.

It's always an interesting evening, please join us!
