What a wonderful time we had at the
Easter Egg Hunt this year!

The Friends of the library out did them selves this year.
 There were over 35 children
and their parents.
  Great job everyone!
If you missed it be sure to join us next year.

The reading group's book this month is Flight Behavior
by Barbara Kingsolver and is a very good read.

Please feel free to come to the library and
pick up a copy.
You don't have to come to the discussion,
but it's a great story.

The Penny Social was a great success.
The members of Historical society can certainly cook!
I loved the historically correct costumes
the auctioneers wore.
Please don't miss this event next time around
it's a lot of fun!

Bring an item for the raffle table.
Ticket will be on sale in increments of $2, $3 or $5 bags at a penny per ticket.

We will have an auctioneer with helpers.
He will hold up an item, helpers will pass the hat and
if you are interested you may drop in some tickets.
A number will be drawn and a winner announced and then on to the next item.
Items may be large or small, things of beauty or joke gifts,
nothing you would not want to own yourself (no junk).
This is a fun evening and one can attend the penny social without attending the dinner.
